I was born in Nanjing, grew up in Beijing, and received a bachelor's degree in industrial design from Beijing Institute of Technology. After graduation, I embarked on a long art journey in Europe. What I saw and felt during the journey prompted me to naturally choose a career in fine arts. Later, I entered the San Francisco Academy of Art University to pursue a master's degree in fine arts.

When traveling to many national parks in the United States, the magnificent scenery of nature provided endless inspiration for my landscape painting. When I was a student, I often used my vacations to travel around Europe and study the works of masters in museums in depth. In particular, the two-month summer landscape painting course in Florence greatly enhanced my artistic vision. In addition, my family background exposed me to painting, music and literature since childhood, laying a solid foundation for my later artistic career.

I moved from San Francisco to the Sierra Mountains because I love the natural beauty here, which constantly inspires me to create more outstanding works.

I learned painting under the guidance of my father Wei Chuyu since I was a child, which not only cultivated my painting skills but also possessed excellent artistic appreciation. At the same time, I have some accomplishments in music. I received vocal, piano and accordion training in high school. After graduating from the School of Design and Art of Beijing Institute of Technology, I traveled around Europe, broadened my artistic horizons, and went to major museums to copy the works of masters to improve my skills. Later, I entered the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, USA, to study fine art painting, and obtained a master's degree in 2016.

Currently, I live near Yosemite National Park in the United States, focusing on artistic creation. I am particularly good at painting landscapes, flowers, animals and plants, using a variety of media such as oil painting, watercolor, and ink. The nourishment of nature, coupled with a solid foundation in music and a love of reading literary works, provides a deep foundation and broad development space for my artistic creation
